The records of the University Open House Committee at North Carolina State University contain memoranda, meeting minutes, annual reports, press releases, and other materials related to the planning of the annual open house for prospective students at the university. Materials range in date from 1973 to 1994.

The University Open House Committee was established in or before 1973 at North Carolina State University to plan and conduct an open house for prospective students one weekend a year during the fall semester. The open house was occassionally also called the "All-University Day," and would include tours of the campus, sessions where prospective students could meet with the academic units to discuss programs of study, and was held on a weekend when a home football game was being played so that aspects of the cultural and social life of campus could also be portrayed to prospective students. As of 2011, North Carolina State University still holds an annual open house event in the fall semester, but planning for this event has become the responsibility of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
