This collection contains several photographs of the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts 1904 graduating class, as well as collected materials documenting the organization of that class's reunions between 1929 and 1974.

Risden Patterson Reece was a member of the Class of 1904 at the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts (North Carolina State University) and worked for the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Throughout his life, Reece was active in the North Carolina State Alumni Association and helped organize reunions for the Class of 1904 through the mid-1970s.

Biographical/historical note

Risden Patterson Reece was a member of the Class of 1904 at the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts (North Carolina State University) and worked for the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Throughout his life, Reece was active in the NC State Alumni Association and helped organize reunions for the Class of 1904 through the mid-1970s. Reece was one of the last two surviving members of that graduating class, attending his final reunion in 1974. Reece is believed to have been born in 1883 and to have died in 1976.

This collection contains several photographs of the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts 1904 graduating class, as well as collected materials documenting the organization of that class's reunions between 1929 and 1974. Also present are a few miscellaneous files on programs associated with NC State.
